Supporting Mothers and Newborns in Need with Baby Products (Germany)

Since 2016, Lansinoh Germany has been engaged in an ongoing partnership with Evas Arche e.V.* supporting the organization’s “Welcome-Baby-Bags” project to help new mothers and babies in need.

Evas Arche’s “Welcome-Baby-Bags” project helps new mothers who are struggling due to financial difficulties, refugee status, or other issues by providing much-needed essentials in the first few days after birth. Clinics, health centers, shelters, and other partner organizations offer direct counseling to expectant mothers in advance and then contact Evas Arche to request the items that will be needed given the client’s individual circumstances. Project staff draw on stores of donated baby products to fill bags with each set of requested items, then work with the partner organization to deliver the bags to recipients.

Lansinoh Germany’s donations to the “Welcome-Baby-Bags” project include products that have been returned but have no quality issues, including nursing bottles, breast pumps, and breast pads.

In 2022, Lansinoh Germany also introduced a so-called “Social Day” system, under which every employee can spend an entire working day volunteering at a social project. As a result, in addition to product donation from Lansinoh Germany, some employees also use their Social Day to help pack “Welcome-Baby-Bags”.

We will continue this activity to create a world that offers security and peace of mind for mothers giving birth and families raising children.
