Lansinoh Group companies regularly hold breastfeeding seminars to support breastfeeding mothers. In this issue, we introduce a breastfeeding seminar series held by Lansinoh’s office in Istanbul, Türkiye (“Lansinoh Türkiye”).

Lansinoh Türkiye has been offering seminars in two main formats, face-to-face and online, since November 2021. Each seminar is conducted in the format requested by the participating breastfeeding mothers, fathers, and families.

Face-to-Face Seminars

Face-to-face seminars are held for relatively small groups, allowing participants to ask many questions and touch the products used in breastfeeding. They are also conducted with hospitals, HCP, and breastfeeding consultants, and used as an opportunity to resolve any concerns or questions. As parents raising children tend to stay at home, we also offer outdoor seminars so that mothers can take a breath of fresh air and refresh themselves.
Since the program began in 2021, we have conducted multiple seminars, including six hospital-based antenatal seminars and 13 trainings with breastfeeding consultants, with a total of 482 mothers and families participating.

Online Seminar

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of online participants has also increased. Many of the participants in our breastfeeding seminars are pre-moms or mothers who have just given birth, so we offer our seminars as an easy-to-attend format. We mainly utilize web conferencing tools such as Zoom and social networking sites such as YouTube and Instagram, and have had a cumulative total of 5,956 mothers and families participate in the program since its inception.

Seminar Contents

As well as basic information on topics such as the composition of breast milk and how to start breastfeeding, the seminar also focuses on mothers and fathers themselves, with topics such as nutrition for mothers as breastfeeding providers, breastfeeding and fathers, and returning to work while breastfeeding, providing a range of useful information about breastfeeding.

We will continue to support breastfeeding mothers, fathers, and families.
