Support for Affected Babies and Families (China)

PIGEON (SHANGHAI) CO.,LTD. has donated its products to support babies and families affected by the Hunan floods in the summer of 2024.

Great Flood in Hunan Province

Dongting Lake, the second largest freshwater lake in China, located in Hunan Province in southern China, suffered extensive damage from July to September 2024 when a sudden rise in water levels caused by torrential rains and other factors caused the lake to burst its banks.

Support for Families with Babies

Our latest relief effort was to participate in the Disaster Emergency Relief Project to help babies and families in the affected areas of Hunan Province, where we donated various in-house products with a retail value of over RMB 107,000, including nourishing porridge, hand sanitizers, baby diapers and wipes, and other childcare products.

Major Examples of Disaster Relief to Date

December 2023: Earthquake in Gansu Province, 148,000 yuan worth of childcare products
July 2021: Flooding in Henan Province, 1.1 million yuan worth of childcare products
March 2020: Corona disaster, 550,000 yuan worth of protective clothing, disinfectant, etc. (to medical institutions)
April 2013 Sichuan Earthquake: more than 2 million yuan worth of childcare products

We will continue this activity so that we can provide prompt assistance in the event of another disaster and help families with babies who have been affected in any way we can.
