Supporting Babies with Cleft Lip and/or Palate (Indonesia)

Pigeon Singapore Pte Ltd., PT Pigeon Indonesia and PT Multi Indocitra Tbk who is our business partner in Indonesia are engaged in the following activities to support babies who have difficulty feeding due to cleft lip and palate.

• We donate certain amount from sales of our Batik Design Nursing Bottle to the Indonesia cleft lip & palate foundation (YPPCBL: Yayasan Pembina Penderita Celah Bibir dan Langit-langit) since 2016 until now to support the cleft surgery for patient who can not afford to pay the surgery cost.

• In 2014, we supported RSCM (RSUPN Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo) which is the largest hospital in Indonesia located in Jakarta to launch “Cleft Craniofacial Center – CCC” by mediating between RSCM and KK Women's and Children's Hospital in Singapore to acquire expertise to design and operate CCC. As part of our support, we supported to dress up the interior of RSCM CCC as well.

We will continue these activities and look for new opportunities proactively to support babies and their families in Indonesia to make the world more baby friendly.
