The United Nations Global Compact(UNGC)
Pigeon Corporation has signed the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) and registered as a participating company since September 18, 2023.
The Pigeon Group’s Purpose is “We want to make the world more baby-friendly by furthering our commitment to understanding and addressing babies’ unique needs.” To realize this Purpose, we will uphold the Ten Principles of the UNGC as we strive to not only resolve the social issues surrounding families but also encourage curiosity, celebrate diversity, and open horizons, because a society that treasures these things is one that will grow up to be creative, inclusive, and free.
As a signatory to the UN Global Compact, we submit reports (COP: Communication on Progress) on our efforts in the four areas and ten principles of the UN Global Compact (human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption).

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
The Pigeon Group seeks to provide sustainable products and services and create new value from the perspective of environment, society and governance (ESG). In so doing, the Group strives to solve social issues, as represented by the SDGs, through its business activities.
Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD)
The Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) aims to stabilize financial markets through a smooth transition to a low-carbon society and to support companies in disclosing information on climate-related risks and opportunities. Based on the recommendations of TCFD, we will analyze climate-related risks and opportunities and actively promote information disclosure from the perspective of Governance, Strategy and Risk Management.

Efforts to promote "White Logistics"
The Pigeon Group endorses the objectives of “white logistics,” a joint initiative of Japan’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT), Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF). The Group has submitted an independent declaration of action to the White Logistics Promotion Initiative Executive Office. Recognizing that securing the sustainability and stability of the logistics needed to carry out business activities is a vital management issue, the Pigeon Group is working with business partners, logistics operators and other related parties in a spirit of mutual understanding to improve its logistics, by raising productivity and transforming work methods.

TCFD Consortium
The TCFD Consortium consists of companies and financial institutions that support the TCFD recommendations, and discusses effective disclosures of climate-related information by companies and initiatives to link such disclosures to appropriate investment decisions by financial institutions. We will continue to proactively collect and disclose climate-related information with the aim of reducing our environmental impact in sustainable ways for climate change adaptation and mitigation.

Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO)
The Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) is a non-profit organization (NPO) dedicated to promoting the production and use of “sustainable palm oil,” palm-oil production that preserves tropical rainforests and biodiversity.
The Pigeon Group became an ordinary member of the RSPO in December 2020. The Group promotes the sustainable use of palm oil through its operations.

Japan Clean Ocean Material Alliance (CLOMA)
Japan Clean Ocean Material Alliance (CLOMA) was established to promote sustainable use of plastic products, development and introduction of alternative materials, and to accelerate innovation through public-private partnerships in order to solve the issues of marine plastic litter, which is an emerging issue on a global scale.
Pigeon became an ordinary member of the CLOMA in September 2021. We will actively work to solve the issues of marine plastic litter through the sustainable use of plastic products and the development and introduction of alternative materials by increasing cooperation with various organizations across industries.

Japan Baby Food Council
Pigeon takes part in this Council, which is operated by six companies that manufacture and retail baby food in Japan. The Council engages in activities to raise the quality of baby food, so that parents can feed their babies with peace of mind.

World Association of Manufactures of Bottles and Teats
The Pigeon Group is a member of the World Association of Manufacturers of Bottles and Teats, an organization consisting of companies that manufacture nursing bottles and artificial nipples. The members of this Association work together to guarantee the health and safety of babies worldwide and to improve the quality of these products.

Japan Council For Stroller Safety
Pigeon takes part in this Council whose main objective is to ensure the safety of strollers. We are engaged in public relations activities to alert people to the safe use of strollers, and in activities to establish a stroller safety inspection system that is necessary to prevent unexpected breakdowns and accidents, such as damage to strollers caused by long-term use.
