Helping to Create a World Where Children Can Play Freely (Japan - Pigeon)

Pigeon Corporation regularly holds corporate-led volunteer activities in which employees can participate by taking volunteer leave. In December 2022, with the cooperation of the Japanese Toy Library Network, Pigeon employees volunteered at the Arakawa Toy Library and Parents’ Salon and the Ogu Ginza Toy Library and Parents’ Salon to help clean and disinfect the toys and prepare the libraries for opening.

Protecting the Environment by Tree Planting (Thailand)

Pigeon Industries Thailand CO., LTD. (PIT) has started a Tree Planting Project in Khlong Si Yat, a national forest of Thailand in Chacheonsao Province every year since 2019. Over the past four years, 130 employees have participated in this project, planted 1,700 saplings on 12,800㎡of land, contributing to the absorption of a total of approximately 13.2 tonnes of CO2e emissions.

Commencing Solar Power Generation at Two Domestic Sites (Japan - Pigeon)

On December 26, 2022, as part of the ongoing efforts of the Pigeon Corporation (Headquarters: Tokyo) to help achieve carbon-free society, Pigeon’s Tsukuba office (Ibaraki) and Central Laboratory (Ibaraki) switched on their newly installed self-consumption solar power generation systems.

In May 2022, Pigeon Singapore Pte. Ltd. started supporting Smile Asia, an NPO that helps  babies with cleft lip and/or palate.

In August 2022, PT. Pigeon Indonesia ("PI"), in collaboration with Bank Sampah Digital ("BSD"), launched an initiative to solve the local waste problem.

LEED Gold Certification for Environmentally Friendly Facilities (Turkey)

In June 2022, Pigeon’s factory in Turkey, Lansinoh Laboratories Medical Devices Design Industry and Commerce Ltd.Co. (“LMD”), received a Gold LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certificate under the Building Operation & Maintenance category for existing buildings.

Pigeon Makes Donation to Municipalities of First Disaster Preparedness Goods for Babies (Japan - Pigeon)

In September 2022, in order to raise awareness of disaster preparedness for babies as an important social issue and emphasize the importance of storing supplies in advance, Pigeon Corporation made donations of Emergency Feeding Cups and Antibacterial/Antiviral Compact Beds from the new “sonaetta” series, Pigeon’s first series of disaster preparedness products for babies, to eight municipalities.
